They had eel fish.
Since they said they had never eaten eel before, I took them to the most famous eel restaurant in Naritasan Omotesando. It was “Kawatoyo” . This restaurant is so popular that wait times can reach up to two hours during peak season. Fortunately, we was able to get in right away that day. 
There is no doubt that the rain and the weekday made it better. Places I’d rather avoid on weekends, long weekends, and over the New Year holidays.
They were delighted by the perfect harmony of the sweet and savory eel sauce, the tender eel meat, and the rice, calling it absolutely exquisite.
